Facing the dual challenges of resource shortage and environmental deterioration, Dongpeng New Materials began to re-examine the value of material. Is there some untapped aesthetic potential hidden in all this seemingly useless waste? It is in this context that the "locally generated" rust series came into being. Dongpeng New material integrates the rust aesthetics with the solid waste of Longhushan sandstone, and endows the waste with new life and aesthetic value through innovative design thinking and technical means.

Turn time into material
"Locally generated" rust series originated from Jiujiang steel corrosion waste, Longhushan red stone waste, porcelain sand and wind fossil and other industrial and natural solid waste (accounting for 60%), through professional treatment and technology research and development, so that these waste materials are refreshed. Rich color layers and unique texture changes, each piece carries traces of time and historical memories, visualizing an uncaptured concept like "time". They are no longer neglected waste, but become carriers of culture, telling the stories of places and historical changes.
Industry and rust aesthetics
The Rust series inherits the rusting aesthetics of industrial relics: the rusted iron materials show toughness and durability, while the warm tones of red stone give the works a sense of vitality and warmth. The integration of the two not only creates a unique visual effect, but also reflects the harmonious coexistence of industry and nature. This design reinvents the function of the discarded material, elevates the emotional and cultural value of the material through the form of art, making it a bridge between the past and the present, the natural and the artificial.
Rust color design language
The products of the "Generated in the Ground" rust series carry the memory of the era of industrial development with rust aesthetics: its warm red color and rich historical layers, combined with modern design elements, create a rough and delicate visual contrast. This unique spatial effect not only improves the quality of the space, but also inspires people to reflect deeply on the relationship between nature and industry. Whether it is commercial space, residential space or public space, natural rust color materials become the expression of the skin texture of buildings and furniture.
