背景介绍 BDNF is found in neurons of the central nervous system. It is expressed predominantly in hippocampus, cortex, and synapses of the basal forebrain. The biological activity of BDNF is mediated by a receptor that belongs to the trk family of receptors encoding a tyrosine-specific protein kinase. BDNF only binds weakly to the gp140trk receptor (to which NGF binds with high affinity), and it binds to the NGF receptor known as LNGFR. BDNF selectively supports the survival of primary sensory neurons and retinal ganglia. The factor supports survival and differentiation of certain cholinergic neurons and also some dopaminergic neurons in vitro. BDNF does not appear to act on sympathetic ganglia. In specific neurons of the central nervous system located in the hippocampus and the cortex the synthesis of BDNF is influenced by neuronal activity either positively (glutamate transmitter system) or negatively (GABA transmitter system). 产品介绍 Recombinant BDNF is a disulfide-linked homodimeric protein consisting of two 119 amino acid residues. migrates as an approximately 27 kDa protein under non-reducing conditions and as a 13-14 kDa protein under reducing conditions in SDS-PAGE. Optimized DNA sequence encoding Human Brain Derived Neurotrophic Factor mature chain was expressed in E. coli.
询价背景介绍 Defensins are a large family of peptides of which two groups exist in mammals: alpha defensins and beta defensins, which are distinguishable by the spacing and connectivity of the conserved cysteine residues within the mature peptides. It is thought that defensins function in the eradication of pathogens from the host system by inserting themselves into the bacterial membrane under the influence of membrane potential, forming channels which lead to leakage of cytoplasmic molecules and cell death. 产品介绍 Recombinant beta Defensin-4 is a disulfide-linked monomer protein consisting of 51 amino acid residues, and migrates as an approximately 6 kDa protein under non-reducing and reducing conditions in SDS-PAGE. Optimized DNA sequence encoding Human beta Defensin-e mature chain was expressed in E. coli.

Unlike hBD-1, this second peptide, human beta-defensin-2 (hBD-2), is regulated at a transcriptional level in response to contact with microorganisms, and is highly effective in killing Gram negative bacteria. Its expression is also upregulated by the cytokine tumor necrosis factor-alpha. 产品介绍 Recombinant beta Defensin-2 is a disulfide-linked monomer protein consisting of 42 amino acid residues, and migrates as an approximately 4 kDa protein under non-reducing and reducing conditions in SDS-PAGE. Human beta-defensin-1, which has 36 amino acids, was originally isolated from hemofiltrates of patients with advanced renal failure. The BD-1 gene is expressed mainly in the urogenital tract and, to a lesser degree, in trachea and lung. BD-1 is believed to function in the antimicrobial defense of the urogenital and respiratory tracts. 产品介绍 Recombinant beta Defensin-1 is a disulfide-linked monomer protein consisting of 47 amino acid residues, and migrates as an approximately 5 kDa protein under non-reducing and reducing conditions in SDS-PAGE.
