On the morning of June 4, 2024, Yang Yingying, Secretary of the Party Group and Director of the Hangzhou Sports Bureau, led a team, including Zheng Guobiao, Director of the Mass Sports Department of the Hangzhou Sports Bureau, Ni Manfen, Secretary of the Party Committee and Director of the Yuhang District Bureau of Culture, Radio, Tourism and Sports, Shen Huanfeng, member of the Party Committee of the District Bureau of Culture, Radio, Tourism and Sports, Zhou Liming, member of the Party Working Committee of the Wuchang Street Office, and Tang Shiliang, Secretary of the Party Branch of the Qiuqiao Community of Wuchang Street, to conduct a special research on the construction of embedded sports venues and national fitness centers in Xixi Bafang City. The research team conducted in-depth discussions on the construction and operation of the Xixi Bafangcheng Cultural and Sports Park project, and provided valuable suggestions for the future development of the project.
Accompanied by Wu Shengping, General Manager of Xixi Bafangcheng Asset Investment and Operation Center, the research team first visited the central sports themed square covering an area of 20000 square meters in the park. The unique 2266 meter 3D plastic tennis track, basketball court, tennis court, roller skating pump track and other diversified sports facilities in the park are fully equipped, demonstrating the comprehensive layout and careful planning of sports facilities in Xixi Bafang City. In addition, the double layered wind and rain corridor not only connects various buildings and subway entrances and exits in the park, but also adds a beautiful atmosphere to the wind and rain in Jiangnan. The clever combination of fitness trails and roller skating plazas provides young people with a unique trendy experience, meeting their needs for excitement and vitality.
During the visit, Mr. Wu provided the research team with a detailed introduction of key information such as the design vision, planning layout, sports functions, and member radiation range of the Bafangcheng Cultural and Sports Park. The ongoing project fully considers the characteristics of different age groups and sports demand groups, striving to create a diversified and all-round sports community.
The leaders of the research team expressed high concern about the daily operation of various sports facilities in the park. On site detailed inquiries were made regarding the service details and management mode of venue reservation, event organization, venue fees, etc., and full recognition was given to the exploration and practice of Xixi Bafang City in the construction of embedded sports venues. Finally, Yang emphasized that the construction of embedded sports venues should pursue efficient utilization, ensuring that sports projects can widely benefit the general public and meet the needs of different levels of sports. At the same time, she has high hopes for the upcoming construction of the Bafangcheng Cultural and Sports Park, hoping that it will become a new driving force for the healthy development of sports in Hangzhou.
