Article 9. Delivery


    The delivery will be made to the address provided at the time of placing your order. Delivery will occur within the timeframe specified on the order confirmation that we will send to you.

    Exceptionally, some deliveries may be made on weekends and public holidays. The delivery time starts from the next business day following the payment of the order, subject to its acceptance.

    We undertake to use all necessary means to meet the specified delivery dates. Therefore, in the event that we are informed of a delivery delay, we undertake to notify you as soon as possible. You will then decide whether to maintain or cancel your entire or partial order. In case of cancellation of your order, you will be reimbursed within a maximum period of thirty (30) days following the receipt of the request.


    Standard delivery also includes the placement of the product outside your home or at the entrance of your building. Unless specified or additional service requested, no handling operation, especially delivery to the floor, and installation will be carried out by the carrier. Therefore, you will be responsible for retrieving, storing, and installing the products at your home. Some carriers may also, after an unsuccessful delivery attempt, drop off your order at a pick-up point near your home.


    You can find out the delivery date of your order directly on the carrier's website with your parcel reference. The carrier may also contact you to arrange a delivery date. It should be noted that no specific time can be communicated, as the appointment is scheduled for the day. Only the carrier is authorized to decide on the most suitable unloading location.

    In case of absence at the time of delivery, a delivery notice will be left in your mailbox, and a new delivery attempt may be made in the following days. You will then be invited to contact the carrier directly to schedule the receipt of your order.

    If you are absent during several delivery attempts, you may be asked to bear the costs associated with a new delivery.


    U HOME DESIGN may offer additional delivery methods allowing customers to receive their orders at their doorstep or directly at a pick-up point.

Article 10. Compliance of your order upon delivery

In the presence of the carrier:

• Check the number of packages and the apparent condition of the packages.

• Check the condition of the products inside the packages.

• Check the conformity of the products with the delivery note on the one hand and the ordered merchandise on the other hand.

• Verify the completion of all the services to which you subscribed when validating your order.

If the delivery is compliant:

• Mention on the delivery note the good condition of the packaging and the products.

• Date, clearly indicate your name in capital letters, and sign the delivery note.

If the delivery is not compliant:

• Mention on the delivery note the problem encountered: Service not performed, damaged packaging, product damaged after unpacking, incomplete product, etc.

• In case of refusal of the product, please clearly indicate the reason(s) for this.

Article 11. Transfer of responsibility and risks

    U HOME DESIGN undertakes to bear the risks of storage and transport up to the designated place of delivery. Customers are responsible for the goods deposited as soon as they are physically delivered, with the transfer of possession resulting in the transfer of risks related to transport.

    Upon delivery, risks of loss and deterioration of the purchased goods as well as damages they may cause are transferred to the customer.

Article 12. Assembly and start-up of products


    The assembly of the products can be carried out by the customer and/or a person of their choice. In the event of improper installation or damage to the products during assembly, the resulting damages cannot be covered, in accordance with legal provisions, by uhomedesign.com which disclaims all responsibility in this regard.

    Before the first use or start-up of the product, we expressly recommend that you carefully read the instructions and documents accompanying the products. If necessary, we remind you of the importance of wearing personal protective equipment when using certain products. We will not be held responsible for damages resulting from the use of products not in accordance with the prescriptions provided in the instructions and documents accompanying the products.
