Terms and Conditions of Sale
INTRODUCTION
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale ("T&C") govern the rights and obligations of the buyer, hereinafter referred to as "the customer", and the seller, hereinafter referred to as "U HOME DESIGN", "U DESIGN", or "uhomedesign.com", for all purchases made remotely via the uhomedesign.com website or at the company's showroom. By purchasing our products and services, the customer declares to accept these general terms and conditions of sale without reservation.
We reserve the right to modify these General Terms and Conditions of Sale at any time. We therefore invite you to carefully read this document each time you place a new order. The applicable General Terms and Conditions of Sale will be those in force on the day the order is placed and apply without restriction or reservation to all sales of products listed in our catalogue published on our website.
U DESIGN is registered with the National Register of Marketers of Furniture Elements as well as Electrical and Electronic Products. This guarantees that uhomedesign.com, by adhering to the eco-organizations of each sector, complies with the regulatory obligations regarding eco-participation and environmental protection in France, in accordance with Article L 541-10-1 10° of the Environmental Code.
This also guarantees that uhomedesign.com complies with Law No. 2004-575 of June 21, 2004, which transposes into French law European Directive 2000/31 regulating electronic commerce.
By validating these General Terms and Conditions of Sale when placing the order, the customer declares to have the legal capacity to enter into a sales contract.
Article 1. Purpose
These conditions are intended to define the sales regime and the rights arising therefrom, particularly for:
- The organization of legal relations between uhomedesign.com and the customer,
- The terms of sale of products between uhomedesign.com and the customer.
Article 2. Your Order
The products presented on the uhomedesign.com website can be ordered online.
You access the contents of your cart, including all products. You must then proceed with your identification. In this regard, you agree to provide us with accurate and reliable information, allowing us to fulfill all of our contractual obligations. Our liability cannot be engaged if the information you have provided proves to be false or incomplete.
Your identification can be done directly after selecting the products or through your user account. Opening an Account involves entering an email address and choosing a password. Your credentials are personal and must be kept confidential. You can access the personal data you have provided to us upon request, in accordance with the provisions of Article 17 of this document.
The data communicated by the customer and recorded by uhomedesign.com during registration and ordering constitute proof of transactions between uhomedesign.com and the customer. After validation of the order by the customer, uhomedesign.com will send a confirmation email to the customer to notify them that the order has been recorded. uhomedesign.com reserves the right to refuse to execute a delivery or to honor an order in cases where the customer has not fully or partially paid a previous order, where the order and delivery processing information are incomplete, or where a payment dispute remains.
Article 3. Price
The prices indicated on the uhomedesign.com website are expressed all taxes included (VAT) excluding delivery charges and take into account the cost of waste disposal (eco-participation).
Delivery charges are specified in the cart and confirmed when the order is validated. Delivery charges are invoiced at the end of the order and added to the price of the ordered products.
Delivery charges vary depending on the customer's delivery address, the weight of the goods ordered, and the level of service chosen by the customer (pickup point, delivery to the bottom of the building, or delivery directly to the door of your home).
uhomedesign.com reserves the right to modify its prices at any time, but products will be invoiced based on the rates in effect at the time of order registration, subject to availability on that date.
In the event that the purchase of the products is accompanied by credit requested at the time of sale or prior to it, the sale will only become final when the credit offer itself becomes final.
Article 4. Payment Terms
On our uhomedesign.com website, orders can be paid for by credit card (Blue, Visa, Mastercard, etc.), gift card(s) (promotional code), or U HOME DESIGN credit voucher (voucher code).
Payment by bank transfer is also possible in certain cases.
Please note: U HOME DESIGN may change its payment methods.
In the case of payment by credit card, the customer's order will only be validated after the account has been debited, authorized by the competent payment centers. In case of authorization failure, the customer's order cannot be processed.
Article 5. Order Cancellation Before Delivery
Subject to implementation before delivery, U HOME DESIGN offers you the possibility to withdraw your commitment and cancel all or part of your order. To be taken into account, the cancellation must be made directly on our website or by contacting customer service.
U HOME DESIGN undertakes to refund the products as soon as possible and does its best to ensure that this occurs within 30 days following acceptance of the cancellation request.
Article 6. Liability
The customer is required to verify the completeness, accuracy of the information provided to uhomedesign.com during registration or ordering, including the delivery address. We cannot be held responsible for any typing errors that could result in delivery errors.
U HOME DESIGN cannot beheld responsible for any errors made by the customer and/or for the customer's failure to comply with the delivery and appointment arrangements they have set with the carrier.
The liability of uhomedesign.com cannot be engaged when the customer does not comply, in whole or in part, with these General Terms and Conditions of Sale, or in the event of an unforeseeable event by a third party or force majeure.
The choice and purchase of a product by the customer are under their sole responsibility. Therefore, the total or partial impossibility of using the products, especially due to equipment incompatibility, cannot give rise to any compensation, refund, or liability of uhomedesign.com, except in the case of proven hidden defects, non-conformity, defectiveness, or exercise of the right of withdrawal.
Article 7. Eco-participation
In accordance with the regulatory obligations incumbent upon it and in application of Article L541-10-6 of the Environmental Code, U HOME DESIGN is registered with the National Register of Marketers of Furniture Elements as well as Electrical and Electronic Products (WEEE).
U HOME DESIGN is therefore a member of the following Eco-organizations:
- Eco-mobilier for furniture elements with registration number FR043819_10L5OZ
- Ecosystem for Electrical and Electronic Devices
Article 8. Dispute Resolution – Mediation
These General Terms and Conditions of Sale, the order, and all acts arising therefrom shall be performed and interpreted in accordance with the law of the country where the product will be delivered. The customer and U HOME DESIGN will seek, before any litigation, an amicable agreement.

- You can submit a written complaint via email to customer service.
- If you are not satisfied with the response provided by our customer service, you have the possibility, within one year from the written complaint addressed to customer service, to submit a free request to the consumer mediator to whom U HOME DESIGN belongs, namely the European Online Dispute Resolution platform (ODR) made available by the European Commission. Any dispute of any nature or any dispute concerning the formation or execution of the order, even in the event of recourse to warranty or multiple defendants, shall, in the absence of an amicable agreement, fall within the jurisdiction of the courts of the country where the delivery of the order took place.
Article 9. Severability of Clause
The fact that any clause of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale becomes null, unenforceable, expired, illegal, or inapplicable due to a law, regulation, or as a result of a final decision of a competent court, shall not affect the validity, legality, and applicability of the other provisions of these General Terms and Conditions of Sale, which shall remain in force.
The customer shall remain obliged to perform their contractual obligations and may not, in this regard, claim any exemption from liability.
