Zhijiang Laboratory collaborates with Bafang Telecom to explore and create a new chapter in intelligent manufacturing for 2024
On May 8, 2024, the elite team of Zhijiang Laboratory Intelligent Manufacturing Computing Research Center, led by project manager Xiao Zhan and senior researcher Li Yue, visited the production base of Bafang Telecom Tower Branch for an in-depth and effective on-site inspection and exchange.
Vice President Chen Xiangjing personally received and accompanied the expert team to conduct a detailed visit to the production base and workshop of the Iron Tower Branch. He provided a detailed introduction to the production process and details of the iron tower to the experts, giving the expert team a more intuitive understanding of the production strength and technical level of the iron tower branch.
After the visit, both parties had in-depth discussions in the conference room. The experts from Zhijiang Laboratory first demonstrated the strong scientific research capabilities of the laboratory and the fruitful achievements of recent industry university research cooperation, especially in the technical principles and application scenarios of intelligent manufacturing, AI learning, graphic design, 3D modeling, workshop safety recognition systems, and displacement sensors. They elaborated on the innovative points and broad application prospects of these cutting-edge technologies, providing valuable insights for the Iron Tower Branch.
Subsequently, the heads of multiple departments including manufacturing, technology, and procurement of the Iron Tower Branch had in-depth business exchanges with the expert team. Both parties had in-depth discussions on tower design and development, AI generation of renderings, intelligent welding robots, and other applications and ideas, jointly researching how to integrate these advanced technologies into tower production to improve production efficiency and product quality.
During the communication process, experts from Zhijiang Laboratory carefully listened to the needs and challenges faced by the Iron Tower Branch, and proposed preliminary solutions and technical ideas for the problems in intelligent manufacturing and production operation management. They stated that they will conduct further research based on the on-site communication and are committed to contributing their efforts to the innovation and development of the communication tower industry.
