The 2021 World Artificial Intelligence Conference (WAIC) co-sponsored by the relevant national ministries and the Shanghai Municipal People’s Government, with the theme of "Intelligent Connectivity, Inspirational Cities", opened on July 8. The conference focused on city digital transformation strategies and helped to build a world-class AI industry cluster. Then he shared the practical experience of integrating operations research, artificial intelligence and big data, as well as the significant effect of continuous overall calculation and optimization of models, computing power and algorithms on promoting the port intelligence, conveying the new trend of traditional industries rapidly moving towards intelligence and automation. At the same time, Huang expressed the determination of Nezha Technology to use AI and other advanced technologies to solve various challenging problems in the smart port supply chain.
At the end of the meeting, when talking about how AI will reconstruct the business model of traditional industries in the future, Huang Heng pointed out that when automation reaches the level of automatic flow of a large amount of data, strict requirements will be put forward to enterprise managers - whether it is changing the traditional human-centered empirical decision-making process into an AI-assisted or even AI-centered digital decision-making process, or the increasing demand for better talents, or the change of overall organization in the face of applying AI to the entire working process. The reconstruction of traditional industries by AI is a process from quantitative change to qualitative change, but the direction is constant.
